Start of a new year always brings an itch to try to something new, and/or improve certain things. So it comes as no surprise that I have decided to take part in the Project 365 again as a way to improve my photography skills even further.

You may remember that I completed my first ever Project 365 back at the end of October 2017. It was hard, overwhelming, sometimes mundane - but at the same one of the best things I ever did for my photography. It helped me develop my vision, editing skills and other techniques. Not only this, but I now very often go back to the images I took during that 12-month period and remember what we did on certain days etc.

I actually managed to do half of this project last year - but for some reason I couldn't keep up with it and ended up photographing our life here and there (definitely not every day). It's still nice to look at the photos from the first six months of 2018 and remember what we were doing back then (especially because Emilia was so little!).

So I'm committed to doing it again this year - I know that this is the best way to document our life and see how the kids grow over time. I am aiming to take photos every day but because this is MY project and nobody else's, I am quite relaxed about the 'rules'. Let's see how I get on, shall we? As for now, here is our first month of 2019 as seen by me.
