You may have seen in this post that just before Christmas I had the pleasure of photographing little Noah and his family on his first birthday. Just as I mentioned in that post, the day was perfect for his birthday party, and because it was happening a few days before Christmas it contained double the excitement.
There was something so intimate and special when I took family photos of little Noah and his parents before the party guests arrived, as it meant just for a few moments they could celebrate their little boy's birthday on their own, in their own space. Naturally true birthday celebrations began as soon as the doorbell rang and guests started to arrive!
It was a lovely party to witness. Friends and family gathered around, Christmas songs were playing on a speaker, and an amazing spread of delicious festive treats was to be enjoyed. The atmosphere was jubilant, festive and full of love and laughter. What an amazing way to celebrate little Noah's first birthday and kick off the festive season!
I can't recommend Alina highly enough! From the moment she arrived at my house, I felt like I was welcoming an old friend. She immediately made me feel at ease and guided the shoot so effortlessly and professionally. My little boy, who sometimes takes a while to 'warm' to people was also immediately full of smiles for Alina. Alina really captured the natural atmosphere of the day, capturing the moments that I missed and all the beautiful exchanges in-between. There's a real intimacy in the photos Alina takes and she has a fantastic eye for detail which results in treasured contemporary photos. I'm over the moon with the pictures. Thank you Alina!
