Hi, I'm Alina - East London family photographer
I feel as if I should introduce myself as a professional juggler - as I juggle lots of things and responsibilities on a daily basis. You know what I mean - raising kids, managing the household, running a business, maintaining a social life, trying to eat healthy, keeping fit, working on myself and finding time for hobbies. That’s a lot, isn’t it?
I know you are in a similar boat. Life is just so busy! And it doesn’t help that you compare yourself to other women and feel that you are not doing a good enough job (hello, imposter syndrome!).
Believe me, I get it.
As a recovering perfectionist, my mission is to let go of perfection and focus on my kids as they are now and my life as it is right this moment. Not waiting for an ideal moment or when I’m ready to do something (because we know that the perfect moment rarely comes).
It’s the same with hiring a photographer. You can wait until you’re ready or life is less busy… or you do it now and let go of perfection. Embrace the stage of life you and your family are at because believe me - you will look back at this chapter of your life (and the photos that come with it) with fondness and nostalgia.
My photography focuses on you and your family as you are right now, without any awkward posing, backdrops or props. I capture authentic connections, joy, love and fun - isn’t it all what we are after in the end?

A little bit more about me...
I believe life is too short to drink bad coffee (same applies to wine, really).
I love plants and I have been slowly turning our house into a mini jungle (what can I say, they bring me joy!).
I have a talent of recognising actors and actresses from various (sometimes less-known) films.
I am a fan of Marvel films and they frequently bring me to tears.
Oh, and in the 90s, when you had to choose your affinity… I was a proud Backstreet Boys girl.
