This wedding was SUCH a joy to capture! Luisa and Luke held their wedding blessing and reception at The Rear Window restaurant in Leytonstone, located in the building of the famous The Hitchcock Hotel on a very hot Friday in August and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. The vibe was fun, laidback and relaxed, making it perfect for documentary style wedding photography. The bride looked stunning in a classic pearl trim mini dress from Odd Muse London while the groom opted for a light summer suit (and the couple’s twin boys rocked their personalised shirts). The evening entertainment was provided by a live band Iron Boot Scrapers who got everyone off their seats and on their feet.
We booked Alina to shoot our wedding celebrations earlier this summer and we are over the moon with our pictures. She took time out of her busy schedule to visit the venue before our wedding to recce the location. I thought this was such a professional thing to do, so on the day, she knew exactly where everything was and how the plans were going to run.
We didn't want too many posed photos and asked for mainly candid moments, and Alina captured so many lovely, intimate snippets of love and laughter, which sum up our celebrations so perfectly. Many of my friends commented on how brilliant she was too and that they didn't really notice her on the day, however I felt like she was part of our team, completely on board with me and my husband to help get the best she could.
She is a lovely lady, she's fun and kind and she really cared. She went above and beyond to help us get as many pictures throughout the day, even when our schedule over ran, she offered to stay for longer so we got more photos of the evening celebrations.
I would absolutely recommend Alina for any occasion - you can see she loves what she does and will listen to your brief and ideas and bring her own the table too.
