Maternity photography East London
I photographed this pregnant mama-to-be one winter morning, on her due date. We both jokingly said the baby could arrive any minute (even though we all know babies don’t tend to rush and first pregnancies are usually longer and go past the due date).
We wrapped the session up, I wished the couple good luck and went home.
Little did I know that their baby boy was born later that night!
So when I say this maternity photoshoot was special - I really mean it. We captured the last moments of waiting, and the last moments before the new adventure. And I sure was glad to be back in their house not long after, this time for their newborn photoshoot with their tiny baby boy.
Now, chances are this may not happen to me again (capturing a pregnancy, hours before baby arrives), so I definitely feel privileged to witness this transformation. And what a wonderful keepsake for the family!
