1st birthday photo session
Being asked to photograph a newborn baby is one thing - but being invited to do baby's first birthday photoshoot at home after taking their newborn photos just one year earlier is another! I was so happy when this family asked me to document their little girl's first birthday with an in-home photo session. You can see her newborn photos in this post - it's fair to say she has grown so much and is turning into a smiling and curious toddler. With some balloons dotted around the room, a personalised first birthday cake and the birthday girl wearing a beautiful emerald green dress, we created a wonderful backdrop for family portraits. And while I am an advocate for photographing your home as it is (because it's a part of your family's story), I can't say "no" to some party decorations! We also documented Tiara's first encounter with a cake which is going to be a sweet visual keepsake of that special day.
