Langtons Registry Office, Langtons House, Billet Lane, Hornchurch, Essex, RM11 1XL
Lisa and Kevin had their small and intimate wedding at Langtons House Registry Office in Hornchurch in mid-February and in the lead up to the big day we were all hoping for dry weather. But as we all know you can't plan the weather and their wedding day was right in the middle of the Storm Eunice - the biggest storm in over 30 years! This meant that unfortunately the beautiful grounds around Langtons House were closed to the public as they were deemed unsafe, so we had to improvise with the wedding portraits in just a small allocated area outside the building (amidst the crazy strong wind and dark ominous clouds!).
The ceremony was held in The East Room - also called 'The Yellow Room' which is decorated in gold and cream furnishings. The wedding party was very small - only 11 people in total, which made the whole ceremony even more special and intimate. There definitely were tears during exchange of the vows!
To those not familiar with this location, Langtons House Registry Office is a Georgian grade II listed building situated in Billet Lane, Hornchurch. It is located on beautiful grounds overlooking a lake, making it a perfect setting for a wedding. The park grounds is beautiful all year round, with lots of lovely picturesque spots perfect as a backdrop for wedding portraits after the ceremony.
