I first met this lovely family of four three years ago, when I was invited to take some family photos of them at their house in Hornchurch. I had such a lovely time with them and always fondly remembered their session. I was thrilled when they contacted me again earlier this year and asked me to photograph their newest arrival, baby Freya. It was wonderful to see them again and this time meet little baby Freya, at 12 days old.
As such a fresh newborn, Freya was a dream baby to photograph. Completely chilled and with gorgeous squishy cheeks! The older siblings were so proud to show off their new baby sister and the parents were just beaming with happiness. The session was completely relaxed and dictated by the baby’s rhythm. There was a break for feeding, changing, rocking – all while the other two kids were playing and showing me their rooms and favourite toys.
I love it when my past clients contact me again and want me to take photos of their growing families. I feel like a friend being invited into their homes and recording the new chapter in their lives. These sessions always fill me with so much happiness and I love seeing how much the babies or kids have grown since our last session.
