I can't believe that I am saying this but we've had an amazing summer in the UK so far! The weather has been glorious (if not a bit too hot on some days), we haven't had rain for a long time (unheard of in this country), days are super long and it's been lovely to be outside. Summer days are made for exploring the great outdoors and spending time with friends and family on picnics.
A couple of weeks ago we got our friends and their kids together and headed out to one of the prettiest parks in Essex, Bedford Park. Everyone brought food, drinks, toys for kids to play with and we just enjoyed being together, catching up and watching our children play with each other.
