There is nothing more special than being invited by your previous clients to take photos of their families again and again. I've been lucky enough to be documenting many families growing from one, to two, to even three children and every photo session is very special and deepens my friendship with this family even more. This photo session was equally as special as it was a certain little boy's winter birthday photo session!
I had a privilege of capturing Noah's first birthday portraits and his party for friends and family back in 2019, so to see him again for his second birthday was such a pleasure. He has grown so much in a year and it was obvious to see his happy cheeky personality shining through! While it was not possible to have a big birthday party this time due to the ever-changing Covid-19 restrictions, the day was special nonetheless. To start with, Noah, his parents and I went for a lovely walk to Thorndon Country Park and captured some lovely portraits there, and then we returned home and documented the little boy's second birthday's party decorations, cake and presents.
The atmosphere was lovely - it was cosy, warm and with the Christmas tree and decorations in the background. It was pure joy to see the birthday boy opening his birthday presents one after another and seeing his face brighten up with glee!
